How Are Dump Trailers Loaded With Product?

The below brief video shows how dump trailers are loaded with product. It's common practice to maintain even side-to-side weight distribution and proper tongue weight. This video demonstrates us loading an end dump trailer. The end dump trailer is great for unloading in tight spots and are quick to unload. They can carry heavy loads and support multiple material types. Keep in mind, the combined weight of the trailer and its load should not surpass the specified weight limit of the trailer, known as the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR).

How Do Dump Trailers Work?

A dump trailer is a specialized type of trailer used to transport and unload loose materials, such as gravel, sand, or construction debris. It is equipped with a hydraulic system that allows the trailer bed to be tilted, enabling the cargo to be easily unloaded by simply raising the front end and letting the contents slide out the back.

Dump trailers come in a variety of sizes to accommodate different load sizes. Our dedicated customer support team can work with you to find the size that will work best for your cargo.
